  15. -> You should be able to use it on your PC fine.  Just take your scene
  16. -> files and objects and save them to a PC disk using cross dos, so that
  17. -> when you get your PC al you have to do is load everything from the
  18. -> disk.  I save my entire A4000 HD with all my work on it.  I'll be
  19. -> transfering everything I need over to the PC side as soon as I got
  20. -> over to a friends house to use cross dos.
  21. Be real careful doing this. Amiga users aren't used to MS-DOS 8.3 file
  22. name limitations and if you aren't careful you will find that any of
  23. your files with long names will have had the names shortened for you in
  24. the transition. Even worse, if any of the new names are the same the
  25. duplicates will be overwritten if they are in the same directory.
  26. (Example, an image sequence IFFIMAGE001 etc. will end up as ONE file
  27. IFFIMAGE !) Solution, use a zip archiver to put all your Amiga files
  28. into one file and hang on to the Amiga drive version until you are sure
  29. everything survived on the other side. Even better make sure and do a
  30. complete tape backup first.
